Spiritual Counseling and Psych-K  

Stahsha has been interested in the Healing Arts her entire life.  She's sure a large part of her passion for health and healing is genetic.  Her 97 year old Grandmother, Grammy Kay, who along with raising 8 children and being an elementary school teacher, is a walking encyclopedia of Natural Health and was a pioneer in the vitamin movement.  Along with Grandpa Joe, they worked and raised their children on their organic farm for 20 years.  On her Dad's side, Grandpa Stanowicz was the GP in his small town in New Jersey, and her father Steve and sister Sarah are both Medical Doctors in Southern California.  

Along with the Healing Arts, Stahsha is equally passionate about progressive education.  Her career in the Education field spans more than 15 years, most recently as a High School English teacher in a public Charter High School in Los Angeles.  While there, she helped to develop an award-winning environmental education program, The Green Ambassadors.  She has also led numerous youth development camps and events, both locally and internationally.  She completed her Masters in Education at Loyola Marymount University with a focus on experiential education and service learning.   

Alongside her teaching career, Stahsha continued to pursue her interests in the field of natural health and healing and has studied and practiced many modalities over the years.  She has praticed yoga since she was 18.  She was an active member of the Mount Madonna Center in Northern California, under the guidance of silent Yogi Baba Hari Das.  She completed her yoga teacher training there in 1997.  She completed an Herbal Medicine apprenticeship program in Upstate New York with Master Herbalist, WiseWoman and author, Susun S. Weed.  She has studied flower essence therapy, using both Bach and Western essences.  She has studied and practiced Goddess-based spirituality with many WiseWomen, including Vicki Noble, Starhawk, Shekhinah Mountainwater, and Jeanine Parvati-Baker.  She has deepened her Shamanic practice under the soulful guidance of 'Anum Cara', Michelle MacEwan, (Anum Cara means 'Soul Friend' in Gaelic).  She has worked with Angel Intuitive, Christopher Dilts, for many years, and incorporates the Unconditional Love of the Angels into everything she does.  She has studied Astrology with Master Astrologer Risa De Angelis, and is self-taught in Tarot cards, Numerology and Kaballah.  She is a certified Reiki practitioner, Psych-K facilitator, Theta Healer, and Akashic Records practitioner.  In addition to spirituality and healing, Stahsha has also completed several courses in Permaculture and Natural Building, both locally and internationally.  She is truly a Holistic Educator and Catalyst, where mind, body, spirit and planet come together in the full expression of who we are.

In 2008, after suffering a health crisis, Stahsha was forced to step away from pubic school teaching and decided to fulfill a lifelong passion of hers, to open her own Wellness Center.  She opened the Heaven on Earth Holistic Living Center in West Hollywood.  The Center offered an array of Holistic classes and events, everything from meditation and yoga, to Holistic Health Fairs, uplifting concerts and dance events, and even a Cosmic Comedy show!  The community that grew within it's walls was one of warmth and heart, where like-minded folks could learn and grow and celebrate life together.  After a couple of years, Stahsha had to make the tough decision to close the Center, but as the Universe always reveals it's wisdom, a new way of continuing this wonderful community emerged, Heaven on Earth 2.0!!  The Heaven on Earth Holistic Community is a virtual Center where a plethora of Holistic Resources can be found and Holistic offerings from the Community can be shared.  You can find it at www.heavenonearthla.com. 

Currently, Stahsha's passion is shared between growing the Heaven on Earth Community resources, expanding her offerings of transformational programs and continuing her Intuitive Counseling practice, which incorporates Psych-K along with her other transformational tools.  There is also a first book underway, so stay tuned!  She is available by appointment in person in LA or via Skype, and is also available as a Speaker or Workshop Leader for your group or event.  Stahsha's greatest joy is to witness positive transformation in herself, in her students and clients, and in the world at large.  She knows there's a better way to live together on this planet and is thrilled to learn and share in our personal and global transformation.
